Wage: $12.00/hour DOE
It’s summer and things are growing! Are you a mission-minded person who enjoys making a difference in people’s lives? You will work alongside people with disabilities to ensure the maintenance of our customers’ properties. Tasks include raking, weeding, planting, flower bed maintenance, mowing, trimming, spring/fall cleanups, and general maintenance projects, as well as some janitorial responsibilities. Training will be provided to become a Direct Support Professional to support crew members in our Job Training Program. Full-time day shift Monday-Friday position; may be required to fill in for other shifts and crews.
Experience in landscape maintenance preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and to work alone and in a group. Must be physically able to perform all essential job duties. Desire to work with people with intellectual/ developmental disabilities required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification. Valid Oregon driver’s license and insurable by Sunrise insurance carrier. Must be able to pass criminal history check and drug screen including negative for all marijuana products due to federal contracts.
