What a bright, joy-filled morning of kindness! ☀️🎨

A big thank-you to the 18 volunteers who joined Sunrise for our third annual Kindness Rocks project on Make a Difference Day. With 15 projects happening across Douglas County, we’re grateful to be part of a community showing up for one another.

Our foyer planter was getting some pretty big gaps, and now it’s full of fresh color, creativity, and kind words again. Every rock is different, just like the people who pass by, and each one offers a different little reminder that meets someone where they are: YOU MATTER.

Some volunteers took a few rocks home to share, and a few decorated pumpkins may have found new homes, too! These small acts are one more way we celebrate a community where every person belongs.

Want to find a rock of your own? Visit us any time of year at 423 NE Winchester St. in Roseburg, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You’re welcome to take a kindness rock or bring a few to share and help spread the love. 💛
